Sacrament of Holy Communion
The Sacrament of Holy Communion is observed on the first Sunday of each month and is open to all believers. Holy Communion is also observed at special services of celebration including Maundy Thursday, Easter Sunday, Pentecost Sunday, Reformation Sunday, Thanksgiving Eve and Christmas Eve.
Lent Season through Easter
Ash Wednesday is observed with worship and Imposition of Ashes.
The Lent Season is observed with mid-week Wednesday evening worship services.
Palm Sunday is observed during the regular Sunday morning worship.
Holy Week observations begin on Maundy Thursday with worship and the Sacrament of Holy Communion.
Good Friday is observed with worship, Stripping of the Altar and Tolling of the Bells.
Easter worship includes a Sunrise service, an Easter brunch, and a 10:15 AM worship service which includes the Sacrament of Holy Communion.
Midsummer Outdoor Worship
We worship outdoors one Sunday each summer. Follow the Calendar for dates and venue.

A Thanksgiving Eve service includes the Sacrament of Holy Communion
Advent through Christmas
The four Sundays of Advent are observed prior to Christmas Day. There are also midweek worship services during the Advent season. Christmas Eve is observed with family-friendly worship, and includes the Sacrament of Holy Communion.
Other Services of Celebration
We celebrate at Sunday worship the Epiphany of Our Lord, the Baptism of Our Lord, the Transfiguration of Our Lord, Pentecost Sunday, and Reformation Sunday.
Weddings, Funerals, and Sacrament of Holy Baptism
If you are a friend of PLC and wish to receive services, rites, the Sacrament of Baptism, or Holy Communion, your request is welcome and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
